Why do I write this?

I have rewritten this section multiple times because it has been hard to explain why. Especially when sometimes there is no answer to such a question.

Not so long ago I came across the quote by Lester B. Pearson, founder of UWC-Lester B. Pearson College of the Pacific. During his Novel Price speech, he said: “How can there be peace without people understanding each other, and how can this be if they don’t know each other?” I think that this thought explains the reason for this blog to exist. I want to share my thoughts, some of the different opinions and stories that I hear, and I also would like to hear what others think about what I share.

Wasn’t that what internet was all about? Connecting people? Uniting people?

Very nice Marce, that’s my roommate!! I look forward to reading your blog this summer and learning more about your country. I really hope that the situation in Venezuela and the rest of the world improves because it really is a scary world to live in. Buena suerte Marce, y cuidate mucho!

Thanks for taking the time to do this =)
The world needs to know we are not only known for oil and our president. But by a diversity of climates, abundance of minerals, beautiful people, incredible beaches, and smiles wherever you go. Venezuela is beautiful and it will always be =)
Let’s work together so our children can live in a safer, less violent and united Venezuela.
